Stay Golden

Boredom is a funny feeling, we try so hard to avoid it. We seek our whole lives for something to fill our time and attribute meaning to our existence.  Boredom however is the reason we thrive. It forces us to move, to change, to experience.

We see things more clearly through the off-color that is boredom. It readjusts our perspective and renews interest in things long forgotten. We hate boredom so much that we will go far out and to extreme lengths to vanquish it. 

Boredom is in fact, deep down inside, our favorite feeling; it means we are safe and in no immediate danger. It means we have no looming stress. Boredom is comfort. Boredom means we have no worry or care. Enjoy it for boredom is fleeting and will soon be replaced again with the worries of the world.
