Artist Spotlight: Claudia Bird

"I’m a young Scottish photographer trying to take things to the next level by moving to London next month. I take a lot of inspiration from the photographers of California and like my shots to look effortless, cool and sunny. As my hometown is usually grey and pissing rain, this proves a constant challenge. I love the female figure in photos, as women’s bodies are incredible but I love shooting guys too as they tend to open up more easily. I would love to start shooting film and retro-looking videos in the future but for now I’m too broke. I reckon the key to a good shoot is a chilled team, music and laughing at my expense." - Claudia Bird
