Artist Spotlight: Bobby Mandrup

In this artist feature we take a look at the work of Bobby Mandrup, a photographer based in Odense, Denmark.  

"I mainly shoot people, both analog and digital. Keep it real, keep it simple. To me a photo doesn't have to be precise in its expression or in its story. I believe that you need to leave room for interpretation - but not too much. It's important that the picture is a reflection of the reality - and authentic in its expression. I always see a loneliness in my pictures. I don't always know in advance where it will appear, but in the end it’s always there - over and over again. I feel It's a general, unconscious, theme in all my pictures
