Furry Feelings
She had a lot of friends but she preferred the unusual kind. Soft round companions, that expressions never changed. Furry creatures placed carefully around the room to keep her company in the quietest of moments. Her collection of plush friends increased year on year, she made sure to name each one carefully and never forgot their names. Chickpea & Charming were her favourites, always perched close-by.
Developing a deep sense of self from these inanimate objects she grew a will of iron and became everyone's rock. She was always the one looking after others, baring every "real" friends cross. Her stuffed friends served as her confidantes; conduits she could channel her pain & frustration into in exchange for a soft hug. They kept her strong so she could carry on, helping her push through some of the hardest moments of her life...
