Song of Silence

Once in awhile
she’d slip away, 
to a place where her
thoughts come out to play.

A secret spot where
only she knows, 
where skies are blue and
the east wind blows.

She’d hear a
peaceful melody,
this song of silence,
a sweet harmony.

She’d watch as birds
fly free and roam,
as they guide the
setting sun back home.
