Reckless Abandon
We are but a slave to the chemicals in our brains. Our motivation, feelings & attitudes all altered by what neurons are firing deep inside of us. Success is rewarded with every hedonists favorite treat: Dopamine. That warm rush that never gets old. We are scolded for failure or our bad feelings in the zapping of our sweet Serotonin.
So much of who we are is determined by a few chemicals. Some try and tweak these chemicals through prescribed pharmaceuticals & new age microdosing. However no matter the dose or drug our core inner-self remains the same. Humanity is always looking for the easiest way out; the path with the least bumps or curve balls. But maybe its time to pick up that fiery axe and forge our own way in life. We are driven by a biological design - to become better than our predecessors.
No reward no matter the purity can unlock what a journey through time and space has instilled in us already. The deepest desire is the human desire. Fire, ice, touch, love.... everything is chemical!
