killing pretences

The reflection of self is a cruel mistress, and a time consuming Harpee. Meet Eva who stares valiantly into her own reflection and feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. She sees the peering eyes of men and women. She knows that they are thinking about her, but not who she really is, but rather evaluating her for her appearance - merely the face value. She knows that she is condemned to a life filled with judgment that is both good and bad. To be a women in our current society is to be marked purely by aesthetics. Eva tires of keeping up appearances. She wants to relinquish her duties and throw away the cosmetics which deceive the eyes of her lovers. But will you accept her for who she is? will you admire her the same? Fuck materialism. Eva tires of representing a fake self. She tires of showing a face that isn't truly hers. Walk into her room, while her face is bare, and her eyes are untouched, and drown yourself in her for who and what she is.
