Never Forget

Glowing light came vividly, after a sea of reaching grabbed at me. Paralyzed by the sight, sharp as a sushi knife, I bled ink. The paper was stained with an image of her body, I drew it as a shadow to protect her modesty. The clamor of hands rippled, as a sea they besieged me. I sat alone writing my name, over and over again. This sadness came. A lack of focus pronounced an eerie distinction. Smudging over the lens a dream cannot see through. Her face was a denial. I came to, I brought this vision into the waking world while the rest of my household slept. Something had changed in me and I did not forget.
